On November 17, 2017, in Bihać, a partnership agreement was signed between the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton and the USAID’s Justice Activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
"This agreement will contribute to strengthening of the capacities of this Prosecutor's Office when it comes to effectively prosecuting cases of corruption, misuse of office, economic and organized crime," said chief cantonal prosecutor Fadila Amidžić after signing the Agreement.
Since its launch in October 2014, the JA has established partnerships with 16 prosecutors' offices in BiH, and with the Special Department for combating corruption, organized and the most severe forms of economic crime of the Republic Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska.
Last week, a partnership agreement was signed with the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, and at the end of the month, signing of the agreement with the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Canton 10 is planned. During the five-year implementation of the JA, all prosecutors’ offices in BiH will be included in the partnership programs.
